For Christmas 2014, Contemporary Ceramics Centre has commissioned 15 exceptional makers who have created compelling and unique new work, much of which is exclusive to Sui Generis.  2014 sees an exciting new selection of makers and the return of a few favourites curated to present affordable luxury for the festive season.

 

Sara Moorhouse

This selling exhibition is purposefully eclectic and the chosen artists represent some of the many aspects of studio ceramics.  Sui Generis connects makers from different traditions, those with roots in the Leach tradition, fine porcelain normally only available as installations, optical confusion; the list is long.
